This seems to be an age old question in sales..... Should we advertise our rates, or should we inform you of rates after speaking with you?
Well, our answer is pretty easy to find, since our rate are posted here.
But the question still remains as to WHY to post our rates. Well, it really comes down to philosophy really. Since you're taking the time to read this, and I really do thank you for doing so, it would do well to tell you about myself (John Carr) a bit.
I am a very down to earth person, who really does not like to hide things from people. I like to let you know everything you need to
know, and really do not like people who play tricks. I see no reason to hide things from clients, or potential customers. And old tried and true sales technique is to not give your prices until you get the client in front of you. Then the customer feels pressure to agree, for they don't want to offend the vendor. We've all fallen for that at times. Down deep inside, that really bothers me. I don't like the feeling I get when that happens to me, so why would I want to do that to my customers.
For that reason, I post our rates. It's what we believe we are worth, based on the tools we use, the talent we bring, and the cost of doing business and making a reasonable living doing so.
So, feel comfortable that with us, it truly is what you see is what you get. No Games. No Guessing. Pure honesty and trust, and isn't that the way it should be?
